Joiner Family Dentistry History Joiner Family Dentistry was started in October of 2000 in the office of Dr. Joiner's father-in-law, Dr. Peter Pals. Before that, Dr. Joiner was in a brief associateship at Lilly Family Dentistry in Sioux City for four months after graduating from dental school. Dr. Joiner started with a single employee with a lone treatment room in Dr. Pals' office until space became available in the current location of 123 Albany Ave. SE. In February of 2001, Dr. Joiner and family remodeled the space and opened in the current location with two treatment rooms. Over the next few years the office grew and expanded to the current four treatment rooms, two full time and six part time employees. Click here for a more detailed history.

Dr. Joiner and Family Dr. Joiner lives in Orange City with his wife Kay (Pals) Joiner and twin daughters, Courtney and Tara who were born on July 4, 2004. Kay is a physical therapist by training, she currently focuses her time on Courtney and Tara. She works occasionally to keep up with her profession. As a family, the Joiners enjoy spending time with their children. Courtney and Tara enjoy the usual favorites like the park, pool, coloring, and playing outside. They also enjoy traveling as a family. In a given year, they will take a week in the winter for a family vacation and week in the fall to attend the American Dental Association meeting. |
